Announce the second annual South Central PA Robotics Competition

 

Where: HACC Midtown Campus

 

 When: Saturday, November 17, 2012

 

The competition is open to all high schools in the South Central PA region looking to enrich their STEM education objectives.

 

Robot kits will be provided free of charge to each participating high school.

 

Rules of the competition:

 

·        Teams in the competition will be assembled from students from various high schools, each with a mentor from one of the participating colleges.

 

·        At the competition, students will be asked to build and program their robots to perform a series of tasks as quickly and precisely as possible.

 

·        Participating high schools will receive their robots 2-3 weeks before the competition in order to become familiar with the robots’ construction and programming.

 

·        Prizes will be awarded.
